Massive convinced the usually conservative Festival of Flowers to run an afternoon event called Flourish - day tripping in the Botanic Gardens. It was held in a secluded little area called the Cockayne Lawn. Funny name for a lawn eh? DJs included Timdog from Pinacolada Records, MP Nandor and Chris Cox. Flavours ranged from vanilla dub beats to the strawberry sounds of funky house. An afternoon soon to be repeated.
