The weather held off almost all night and we had such fun until we had to pack the whole party up in the pouring rain. But hey, that's the way it goes sometimes, and we'll be back in another couple of months for the next party!

On Saturday 27th September, M*A*S*S*I*V*E presents Equinox, a celebration of the time when days become longer than nights and summer is just around the corner. From 10pm until sunrise, we will shake the river bank with a range of sounds, including the well spaced beats of Nazarite, the hard-hitting style of Structure's drum'n'bass, the ranting of ravers Dog eat Mushroom (Psilo and HFox), the smooth grooves of Insomniac and Sirius, and earth inspired waves from local producer Organism. Tickets are available from Galaxy Records on High Street for $10, and gate sales will be $15.

How to get there (the new and improved version): Cruise west out of town on Yaldhurst Road (that is the continuation of Riccarton Road) and keep going past the Caltex at the roundabout. Keep going until you get to the Old West Coast Road and turn right. Go West for about 13 kms, and turn right into Thompson's Road which leads to the river. The road sign is on the right hand side of the road and may be obscured by trees. We will try to keep the party signposted but we can't guarantee anything - there seem to be a few sign-thieves out that way.
