Aye... ah.. who? Aska! This is what I overheard.. Tuna Valley in Room 1 at the old-skool house. A picture perfect nosy fireplace watches indoor-outdoor flow with weeping vistas of the Swiss Alps.....It never rains in paradise...

Just off the wire:
It's time for some old-skool lessons in outdoor revelling. The historic school house in Kaituna Valley was built in 1914, used for schooling until 1936 and then turned into a haybarn. So the backdrop is set...

We are the type of folks who don't like to see a perfectly good spot going to waste so we will erect visuals screens, exsighting lighting, tarpaulins for extra shelter. It will be cosy and crazy, and totally outdoors. We leave this glowing scene open to the interpretation of inquisitive imaginations.

If you drive or camp you will be happy with our 8 hectare camping ground. And if you like to stay awake all night our old buddy Kerb will be along to provide hot caffeinated sustenance and food.

As if we need to tell you, this party is alcohol free. Please don't bring glass because people like to take their shoes off without getting cut; so do sheepdogs, remember this farmland. Also no dogs - they have a tendency to either not get along or get along too well. Bring warm clothing, a torch and water and look after your mates.

You (the Massive massive) are usually really good at taking rubbish with you so keep it up, it does not go unappreciated.

Tickets will be available from Cosmic Corner and Shambhala Hair Design for $15. Gate sales are $20.

Directions

To get there travel towards Akaroa for 35 minutes and turn left into Kaituna Valley. It will be signposted from there. Here is a map of where you turn off.

Win tickets

The draw has been made for the competition to win tickets and the winners were notified by email. They were Stephanie and Bart who will each be getting themselves in for free! About 10 people got the answer right; it was Rita Angus who painted the picture of the red shed in Cass. Go here to see the painting.

As for the rest of you, better mosey on down to Shambhala or Cosmic and get your tickets!

Only 3 days to go.. we'll see y'all soon!
