Earthdance 2007

Sunday 16 September 2007, Thomson Park
UPDATED: Check out photos from Earthdance

Well, I had a good weekend, (just a wee story) I stayed at the site on the Friday nite as to get a head start on the set up, and woke to a very foggy morning. The sun came out and I started work (after some weet bix) and the sun quickly warmed the air, and as i was standing in the creeks making bridges, this was a really good thing. Moving on a bit, the lighting crew tuned up, did a fantastic job! And all the other awesome people that come together to bring all the litle aspects to building a party started arriving, the two good fellas and their helpers who set up their fat sound systems, THANK YOU! Then of course it starts geting dark, and that's when lots of other choice people join us to see the nite through, it was good to see people geting creative and puting on amusing costumes (I saw a few ghosts I think).

Thanks to everybody that enjoyed that nite, seeing so many people enjoying themselves is why I've given my time to be part of the awesome team puting on these parties for the last few years. Cheers to all the dj's for providing some very choice beats and also to who ever organised the drizzle, it was a realy nice effect, but most of all, thanks so much to Mr and Mrs Ensor who let us have the party on their property. Oh and it was good that there were people still with enough energy to play games in the morning, it was fun.

Cheers, see you at summer soulstice.

The time has come the walrus said, to talk of many things, of music and dancing and of cabbages and d.j's and why we dance into the night and whether we have wings to fly our way to the annual SPRING EQUINOX!

Just remember we are a non-alcoholic event. Please bring warm clothes and good footwear.

There will be places to camp, toilets and water, chill / chai teepees, food, coffee, creek, blossom, daffodils, and a bonfire at midnight.
