That’s right, not only is it another Summer Soulstice, but M*A*S*S*I*V*E have also reached yet another milestone, it’s our 15th Birthday!!!For this special occasion, Christchurch’s most consistent and unwavering outdoor party organisers are bringing you fun, music and celebration at a new beachside location.

Get there early to enjoy the amazing music, beautiful surroundings and awesome atmosphere in the af...ternoon sun alongside this isolated beach. With native forest and overarching white limestone cliffs as the backdrop, what better place to relax and be? Guaranteed to be a memorable event for good people of all ages to enjoy. Ensure you stay for sunrise over the sea.

To celebrate this occasion we are offering an extra special lineup with MASSIVE sets from the internationally renowned, Pitch Black, founder of San Francisco’s Muti Music, Dov, and the South Island’s own, Organikismness. We also welcome the return of many old favourites including Pylonz, Insomniac, Locean, Alpharhythm, NØrt, mute_continue and a special sunrise set from Tom Cosm. With many more amazing acts like these we guarantee they’ll deliver something that’ll captivate your mind and make you move. At this year’s event, five unparalleled zones will combine the best of what MASSIVE is and once was. These zones will provide every thing that ensures your complete aural and party pleasure, from the past and present big acts of the MASSIVE Stage to the unknown, fresh and upcoming on display in the Bedroom Producer’s Zone. Get back to music’s organic roots and stomp to the on the beach at the Tribal Zone or party it up to your favourite DJs or those that are new and upcoming in the Renegade Zone. These have been carefully prepared to ensure complete satisfaction.

Bedroom Producers Zone (8K MASSIVE Sound System) - Have you been tinkering around in your bedroom writing tunes but never had the chance to play out? MASSIVE wants to support the next generation of producers and has a whole zone dedicated to people just like you! It will have a nice system to really ear/air out your beats and treats. Market Zone – To ensure you are truly content we will have food, coffee, threads, beats and other goodies so don’t forget to bring some cash.

Tribal Zone – Bring your drum, or other instrument(s) and join in the beach rhythms. Belly dancers will entertain throughout the night with an African tribal drum crew providing the rhythmic foundations. A number of other performances will also occur in tribal throughout the night so keep an eye out.

Directions:Drive north on State Highway 1 through Greta Valley. Take the second right (after Greta Valley) down Stoneyhurst Road to Blythe Valley. Follow to road end, Napenape. Party will be Signposted from Greta Valley. There is Limited Parking so please carpool wherever possible, thanks.

As always, bring everything you need for fun and comfort in the outdoors including water, food, warm clothes, sunblock, a torch and of course a smile. Please leave behind any alcohol, glass, dogs, silly drivers or bad attitudes.

As it is summer and the site has native bush, please No Fires.This location also has a dangerous beach, so please No Swimming, you’ll drown and bum everybody. In addition, please don’t cross farmers fences, we’d love to use this amazing site again.
