Ali has taken the London and Auckland clubbing scene by storm and is currently emerging as one of New Zealand’s most promising hard-style / hard dance talents. He has achieved what only a handful of DJ’s have experienced including djing at top UK and Auckland nights, promoted and founding several of his own events, hosting his own radio show, producing the start of many tracks and winning two DJ competitions and all in little more than two years.

It all started in 2002 where Ali appeared regularly at numerous top UK nights for his own event Cupid including Club Pulse and club Vogue, culminating with his first weekly residencies when Cupid moved to the Mooch and The Square.

In 2003 Ali appeared at Cupid and other notable nights including Phuture @ Fire of which drove his hunger to move Cupid to greater levels. This is when Cupid moved to a newer and bigger location at Rpmk in Milton Keynes which was followed closely by being voted the 3rd and 4th most looked forward to events to go to in October and November 2003 in Dj Mag. Ali played alongside pioneers of our scene like Graham Gold, Brandon Block and Carl Nicholson as well as stars of today including Ben Kaye, Miss Behavin’, Zana Mills, Danny Gilligan, Simon Rutherford, Paul Reeves, Little Miss Loud, Jana and Timmy D9.

Since moving to Auckland in December 2003 Ali’s infectious blend of hard house, hard dance and Nu NRG and the ability to give the audience what they want when they want have made him one of Auckland’s most promising dj’s. He had played out around the city including Decadance, Voodoo, Hectic, Transformation, Nukleuz, Expuls and Thors Hammer and has supported stars such as Charlotte Birch, K90, Gaz James, Uberdruck and Vinylgroover as well as a mixture of higher regarded locals. Ali has also hosted his own weekly radio show which ran for 8 months on twisted107.7fm called Stormin’ Sundaze and has won two DJ competitions with R’totos Cafe, Takapuna and UpFm. 2004 culminated in producing his first two tracks "Fresh Kill" and "1..2..3..& 6".

2005 looks the most promising year to date as Ali has changed his approach and also his style of music to hard style and hard trance. This will hopefully keep the music fresh and exiting for everyone, Ali is also in London, UK for four weeks to finalise producing some more tracks. WATCH THIS SPACE
