Disorder began DJing late 2002 at the fine age of 14, NYE 2202/2003 he purchased his first pair of (ultra crap belt-drive, knob pitch) Technics. Having listened to old hardcore CDs since the age of 6, DJing seemed to be the natural progression. Disorder was lead into DJing by a fantastically (crap) computer program called "AtomixMP3" along side fellow DJ Crisis (Chris Scott). Having no previous musical knowledge, Chris had a vigorous tutoring schedule that involved yelling "1..2..3..4" down his ears drums until....eventually he figured out what a four count was!

After owning and mixing on turntables for only 4 months both Disorder, Crisis and now fellow DJ - Focus, played their first set at the ever popular club night "NRG" for the under-age public on Friday nights. Having been snapped up quickly all DJ's were booked again and eventually gained a residency at the Club night.

Not being satisfied with playing at just nights organized by other promoters, Disorder held his first night Area_51 at Groove'n'Hair on High St. After the success of Area_51, Disorder quickly realized the need to create a forum for people under the age of 18 to be able to communicate and discuss future events and electronic music and hence founded Nitrate.co.nz. Soon after starting Nitrate it also became apparent that something was needed to help attract a younger generation to the dance scene…or else, who was going to be the future generation of electronic music? Outside of Nitrate, Disorder obviously also has huge respect any body else on a similar mission to rectify this current musical crisis. Congratulations Rinsed, R-One, Massive, YBR and others, for the wicked unique atmosphere that each of your parties provide!

Nitrate is now run and managed by Disorder and fellow DJ Crisis and has 800 members and four residents up and down the country;
Disorder, Crisis, Focus (Also signed to TMET.co.nz) and Auckalnd resident Winza. Having now been in operation for almost 2 years, Nitrate now runs successful club nights all around the garden city, specializing in opening R18 venues to the all-age masses.

Disorder's DJing courier is now well on track with the first nationwide all-age hard dance tour coming this September / October (Tantrum2). Always trying to appeal to his target market but still keep it hard, he has refined his music style to that of charging High NRG Hard Trance and Hard House. Keeping it super tight in the mix and having recently spent months behind the turntables (Yes - Their 1200's now!) to add scratching to his portfolio of tricks alongside his first three deck performance at the last Nitrate event Tantrum at Heaven. Feel free to check out Disorder’s (or any of the Nitrate Residents) sets on Monday nights from 8pm on Pulzar FM with The Nitrate Show!

No holding back, this year is Disorder's final year at high school (Now 17) and next year he intends to knuckle down and get a few university papers behind him (Come on Labour...!) as well as spending excessive amounts of time in a studio and work on producing his own unique sound before eventually planning to travel overseas and experience the rest of the worlds dance culture.
