DJ Glyd, aka Gareth Fletcher is a producer/dj, and radio host of RDU's 100% New Zealand electronica show 'The Green Room'.

DJing for six years and producing for five, Glyd yields a characteristic sound that incorporates the warmth of house, freshness of nu-breaks and the humour of electro. Winner of 2003 'Found at Thirst' South Island heat, Glyd 's music has enjoyed strong representation on the B-Net radio stations, a theme he plans to continue into a more professional career. Artistic influences include: DJ Shadow, Jeff Mills, Deep Dish and The Flaming Lips among others. His favourite book at the moment is 'Crime and Punishment', his favourite film 'The Big Lebowski', his favourite beer Coopers Sparkling and his favourite dictator, Stalin.

Gareth is currently studying Fine Arts and a BA at Canterbury University, eventually planning to craft a career in the film industry. He wholeheartedly accepts any contributions to his radio show, so long as they're relatively concurrent.
