After moving to New Zealand, and yes It was Linwood in 2000 I , Hide of Rare Shot Blue caught the New Zealand dance music bug, which led to an interest in DJing and later producing tunes. I got into D’n’B when I started producing tunes. Supported Pacific heights , Klute , LTJ Bukem and many more. Then decided to direct myself to 100% live electronic music as Rare Shot Blue with various artist / singers mainly focused on Trip Hop/Big Beat.
Today, Rare Shot Blue is heading out on a journey to explore elements of electronica both upbeat and down with their new singer Rosie. And with live performances Rare Shot Blue experiments with the limitations of our music and how I make it. Our Trip Hop Album "Where I Was Born' by Rare Shot Blue is out nation store wide as well as on itune and amplifier on line.
